22/07/2015 Observations.

[Updated: 23:59]
Grey morning at 05:20 when I left the house. At Selhurst Depot 171730 was stabled easily visible from the road.

The 5L01 VIC-EGR ECS was had a different formation this morning. Usually is is formed of 3x 4 coach 377s. Today it was 377161 (4 coach), 377328 (3 coach), 377610 (5 coach). The early TL was 319458, 319450 (2V94 SRS-LUT) then in came the ECS formed of 377706 (5M05 SRS-CLJ).  1U13 GTW-VIC was 442414, 442404 which was passed by 442418 heading South (1D14 VIC-GTW). The 2F04 VIC-ORE followed with 377462. My train crept into the platform with 377506, 377510 (2V98 SRS-BDM) and as I sat down 377429, 377426 (5G11 VIC-ECR) went through platform 3.

I managed to see the 1W03 BDM-BTN this morning at Herne Hill and it was 387107, 387104 doing the honours.

London St Pancras provided me with the next trio of units in the shape of 395s (still missing 016!!!!):
395002 1J06 STP-RAM.
395008 5T94 STP-MDW.
395026 1F08 STP-FAV.

Over at Kings Cross 365507 (1C42 KGX-CBG) departed right time and got me to Finsbury Park in time to catch 313047, 313045 (2F07 MOG-SVG).
Hornsey
6Z73 0940 Tonbridge West Yard – Peterborough Maintenance Shed 73963, 73128 passed by at 11:40. 73963 look respendent in it’s Gbrf Livery where as 73128 looked somewhat drab in it’s grey colour scheme, it was mentioned that maybe 128 is heading for a rebuild.
For some strange reason 4E26 0813 Dollands Moor Sdgs to Scunthorpe Redbourne Sdg stopped reporting at Mitre Bridge. If you know why let me know. (update: According to an email it was diverted up the WCML).
313052 formed 2K02 WGC-MOG and the (yet again) late running 2C51 CBG-KGX (317343 recently in new livery and after a C6 refresh at Ilford)) was moved to platform 4 from platform 2 causing another evening of running up and down stairs.
Having missed my usual train I popped upstairs to check out platforms 11-13 and which 395s were in. Surprise Surprise! 395016 was not there! What was there was:
395017 (1J48 STP-).
397025 (1J80 STP-) .
Back downstairs to the Thameslink platforms to see 387107, 387104 (1H66 BDM-BKJ) and it was only after it had departed I realised I still required 104 as haulage to complete the class! 387103, 387129 (1W45 BDM-BTN) took me back to Croydon.
Just South of Blackfriars 466033, 465933 were heading in as ECS (5Y92 VIC-BFR) then at Herne Hill 466011, 465175 (2M04 VIC-ORP) were there.

Miles Traveled Today: 33m 58ch
Trips: 7
New Haulage: NIL.
Red Pen Sightings: 4 (73128, 73963, 466033, 466011)

Items in BLUE = Haulage | Items in RED = New Sighting.
