05/08/2015 Observations and the latest on the Quest

Feeling rather under the weather today. [updated 08:00 07/08/2015]

2W03 BDM-BTN made an appearances today with 387126, 387108 which was a nice change as it has been going via the Crystal Palace line recently. 1U13 GTW-VIC sped through platform 4 with 442419, 442417 doing the honours. 2V94 SRS-LUT is in my bad books. It arrived late to being with, then sat there obscuring the view of 5L01, 319450, 319451 the offending units. 1D14 slid through platform 3 with 442410 passing quietly. THe 2F04 VIC-ORE was 377413 and 5M05 SRS-CLJ ECS was 377704. 5G11 VIC-ECR ECS 377441, 377125 paused to allow 2V98 SRS-BDM 377207, 377522 to arrive in and on platform 1 5Z06 SRS-TAT was formed of 455826 (I really don’t like including SN 455s in my blog!!!).

1W03 BDM-BTN passed Herne Hill on time today with 387129, 387101.

The Legendary Quest For 395016 continued today. On platform 11 1J06 STP-RAM was 395022 and on platform 13 395018 waited to take out 1F08 STP-FAV. I had to walk acros the gates to see 5T94 STP-MDW on platform 12 and It was 395016 … hold on 395016? FINALLY … The Holy Grain!!! 395016 !!!!!!! The Quest is over.

At Kings Cross there was no Thunderbird as left on 1C42 KGX-CBG 365520 (third day on the bounce). Then at Finsbury Park 2F07 MOG-SVG 313036, 313122 took me to Hornsey for a new day.

6L37 0958 Hoo Junction Up Yard to Whitemoor Yard L.D.C Gbrf was 70810 and just now (14:00) 66138 passed on 6M05 1123 Barrington Unloading Pad to Wembley Eur Frt Ops Cntre. The unit home was 313061 2K02 WGC-MOG to Finsbury Park.

2C51 CBG-KGX 317344 took us into ‘The Cross’.

At St. Pancras 387116, 387117 1W43 BDM-BTN too me to Ease Croydon, on the way 375310, 377303 was at Blackfriars on 1K87 BFR-DVP.
