Back to the original way of doing the blog. Saying that … Do you prefer my ramblings or the straight lists? PLEASE TELL ME 🙂
A doctors appointment this morning ensured I had a different route to work. So off to East Croydon station just in time to miss 387120, 387109 on 1W14 BTN-BDM, so I waited for the next Thameslink which was at 08:24. 1W87 BTN-BDM 387113, 387108, 387125 took its time to get me there.
At Kings Cross the Thunderbird was 67012, I noted it as I left on 1C48 KGX-CBG 365505, 365511. At Finsbury Park I caught 2F43 MOG-LET 313055.
I am quite busy at work at the moment tidying up the stuff in time for my last day here on Friday so I have not been able to get to see much. What I did see was 6M05 Barrington Loading Pad to Wembley Eur Frt Ops Cntre hauled by 66150. Then came a superb sight. 0X20 Butterley M.R.C. to Ripple Lane West S.S. was a light loco comprising of 20227 with it’s big TfL logo. Returning homeward 2K02 WGC-MOG 313055 took me to Finsbury Park and then 2C51 CBG-KGX 317341 got me to St Pancras in time for 1W43 BDM-BTN 387119, 387124.
There appeared to be some delay at Blackfriars which gave the opportunity to see 1S25 BFR-DVP in the form of 375625, 375617 on platform 3 and behind it was 1K87 BFR-DVP which had 375301, 375305.
